Product Description
The EasyConnect USB3-3-AC bridges the common gap between a Type A host and a Type C peripheral over a short 3-foot run. This length suits rack, credenza, and table-side positions in a conference room or huddle room where the source and endpoint are close together. The passive design carries USB 3.2 Gen 1 data at up to 5 Gbps, supporting webcams, audio interfaces, and content-sharing peripherals in modern meeting spaces. Double shielding with foil and braid protects the signal against electromagnetic interference near equipment racks and cable channels. Tinned copper conductors and gold-plated contacts help maintain consistent performance over the installation lifecycle. The cable is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices for legacy peripherals during system transitions. Integrators specifying a complete AV rack can pair it with cabling from the Biamp collection. For a longer Type A to Type C run, the EasyConnect USB3-10-AC (10 ft) covers the same connection at greater distance.
