The Biamp Seismic Cable Adapter is an installation accessory for Parlé ceiling microphone plenum boxes and the Devio DCM-1 plenum box. Product Description
In many commercial and institutional installations, ceiling-mounted equipment must be tied to the building structure with a secondary restraint independent of the ceiling grid. The Seismic Cable Adapter adds a mounting hole to compatible Parlé and Devio plenum boxes so an integrator can attach a seismic cable (purchased separately) that anchors the microphone assembly to the structure above. It is compatible with all in-ceiling Parlé TCM plenum boxes as well as the Devio DCM-1 plenum box, making it a consistent line item across Parlé deployments. The adapter itself does not include the seismic cable; the cable and its structural anchor are specified to suit the site and local requirements.
