Product Description
The USB3-50-CC solves the common problem of running USB over long distances in a commercial AV installation. It is an active USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.0) cable that supports data transfer up to 5 Gbps and includes up to two built-in USB hubs across its SuperSpeed lanes to sustain signal integrity across the full 50-foot (15 m) length. Through DisplayPort Alt Mode (DP1.4), the cable also passes video up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma and 8-bit color, plus audio over USB/DP, making it a single-cable link for BYOM displays and peripherals. It supports USB Power Delivery up to 60 watts (port dependent) with PD 2.0/3.0, and includes an E-marker chip and Billboard device reporting for correct host negotiation. Construction includes double shielding, gold-plated contacts, and a 6.5 mm PVC jacket rated VW-1, with RoHS and REACH compliance for commercial deployment. The cable works with Windows 8 and later, macOS 10.9 and later, and Linux 3.x and later, and supports legacy connections through Type C to A/B adapters.
