Product Description

The EasyConnect USB3-15-CC extends a USB-C connection to 15 feet, past the practical limit of passive USB 3.2 cabling, so integrators can route a single cable from a table or floor box to a display or equipment rack. The active design carries USB 3.2 Gen 1 data at up to 5 Gbps for cameras, audio interfaces, and BYOM peripherals used in modern meeting spaces. The cable supports DisplayPort Alt Mode video, HDMI through DP Alt Mode, and audio over USB or DisplayPort, letting one USB-C cable move both video and data. USB Power Delivery lets a connected device draw power over the same cable, subject to the host Type-C port. Double shielding with foil and braid protects the signal against electromagnetic interference near equipment racks and cable pathways. This suits ceiling cameras, wall displays, and floor-box connections in a conference room, boardroom, or multi-purpose room. Integrators can pair it with cabling from the Biamp collection; for shorter passive runs the EasyConnect USB3-6-CC (6 ft) applies, and for longer runs the EasyConnect USB3-30-CC (30 ft) extends the same connection.
