Product Overview
The Barco UDM-4K30 COMM+LNS (gen 2) is a fixed-install configuration of Barco's compact large-venue 4K UHD 3-chip DLP laser phosphor projector, shipped with the FLEX body, GSM and Wi-Fi connectivity, and your choice of TLD+ lens. It is intended for permanent venue installations where an integrator wants a complete, lens-matched projector ready to mount and align. At roughly 48 kg, the UDM is among the lightest projectors in its 30K-lumen class, simplifying rigging and ceiling mounts. This package suits auditoriums, houses of worship, and large presentation rooms that need bright, sharp 4K imagery.
Product Description
The UDM-4K30 produces 4K UHD resolution (3,840 x 2,400) from three 0.9-inch DMD chips and a laser phosphor light source, rated at 25,000 ANSI lumens, 25,500 center lumens, and 27,000 ISO lumens. Unlike the no-lens engine, this COMM+LNS configuration includes any TLD+ lens (except the 90 UST lens), letting you match throw distance to the room at the point of order. The gallery images show the FLEX body and the mounted lens assembly with its motorized zoom, focus, and shift. Built on Barco's Pulse electronics platform, Single Step Processing handles warp, scale, and 4K UHD processing in one pass for low latency and minimal dark time.
If you need a different package, compare the UDM 4K30 Touring Kit (gen 2) for rental and staging, the UDM 4K30 COMM+FRM+FC (gen 2) with manual frame and flight case, or the engine-only UDM-4K30 No Lens. See the full Barco collection for related projection systems.
