The Barco ImagePRO-4K is a 4K60p scaler, converter and switcher designed for the way live events, rental staging and broadcast shows are produced today. It scales, converts and switches the highest-quality signals (4K, 4:4:4, 60p, 10-bit) at low latency, addressing signal issues before they reach the screen. This SKU (R9009231B) is the switcher chassis supplied without I/O cards, so Tri-Combo or other supported I/O cards must be added separately to configure inputs and outputs. Built for life on the road, the ImagePRO-4K performs reliably both at the gig and in the shop.

Product Description

The ImagePRO line has been a backbone of live event production since 2004, and the ImagePRO-4K extends that role into 4K workflows. As shown in the product image, the front panel provides a live-source view of the incoming signal so operators can confirm content before it goes to program. When fitted with a Tri-Combo input card, each input supports HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2 and 12G/3G SDI; a matching Tri-Combo output card mirrors those formats and adds output image rotation. The unit handles LED wall setups with a guided menu, slicing single inputs across multiple connectors or driving multiple walls from multiple sources, with 12-bit internal processing for pre-scaling and cropping to a wall's actual resolution. Note that this chassis ships without I/O cards, so the appropriate Event Master Tri-Combo cards should be ordered to suit the workflow.
