Product Overview
The Barco G100-W22 is a 22,000-lumen single-chip laser phosphor installation projector built for large-venue applications where consistent brightness and image stability matter most. Engineered for permanent installs in auditoriums, planetariums, domes, themed attractions and projection-mapping environments, it delivers WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200) resolution from a sealed 0.96-inch DLP core. The laser phosphor light source runs up to 20,000 hours without lamp changes, reducing maintenance cycles and consumable costs over the life of the install. With 360-degree orientation and embedded warp and blend, the G100-W22 supports demanding multi-channel projects.
Product Description
The G100-W22 is the brightest model in Barco's G100 single-chip series, rated at 22,000 ISO lumens (20,600 center lumens / 18,500 ANSI lumens) with a Super Bright mode reaching 23,750 ISO lumens on 220V power. As shown in the product gallery, the chassis uses a stable lens holder that keeps blended, multi-channel images fixed in position, which is critical for domes and edge-blended canvases. A broad GC-lens range covering throw ratios from 0.38:1 (FLDX ultra-short-throw) up to 10.8:1 makes the projector adaptable to both compact rooms and long-throw auditoriums. Integrators can manage installation, blending and warping through Barco's Projector Toolset software. Buyers who need lower brightness can compare the Barco G100-W19 19,000-lumen model or the Barco G100-W16 17,200-lumen model, all part of our Barco collection. This unit ships as a body only, with no lens included, so the appropriate GC or FLDX lens should be specified separately.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the G100-W22 include a lens? No. This is the R9010134 body-only configuration. A GC-series or FLDX lens must be ordered separately based on your throw distance and screen size.
What is the real-world brightness? The projector is rated at 22,000 ISO lumens, 20,600 center lumens and 18,500 ANSI lumens, with a Super Bright mode reaching 23,750 ISO lumens when run on 220V power.
How long does the laser light source last? The laser phosphor source is rated for up to 20,000 hours of operation with no lamp changes, which significantly reduces maintenance over a permanent install.
Can it be mounted at any angle? Yes. The G100-W22 supports full 360-degree rotation with no orientation restrictions, making it suitable for dome, tilted and inverted mounting.
Is it suitable for edge-blended multi-channel projection? Yes. It includes embedded warp and blend, a stable lens holder for fixed images, and is configurable through Barco Projector Toolset for planetariums, domes and projection mapping.
How does it compare to the G100-W19 and G100-W16? All three share the same WUXGA platform and feature set; the difference is brightness (22,000 vs 19,000 vs 17,200 ISO lumens), so you can match the model to your ambient light and screen size.
