Product Overview

The Audio-Technica ATW-3211 is a bodypack wireless microphone system supplied without a microphone, giving AV integrators the receiver and transmitter to pair with the cH-style element of their choice. This 3000 Series (fourth generation) package includes the ATW-R3210 true diversity receiver and ATW-T3201 body-pack transmitter in the 470–530 MHz (DE2) band. As a frequency-agile UHF system with a 60 MHz tuning range, it is a flexible base for conference rooms, training rooms, and houses of worship that standardize on a specific lavalier or headworn capsule.

Product Description

Specifying the system without a microphone is useful when a facility already standardizes on a particular Audio-Technica cH-style lavalier or headworn element, or when the integrator wants to match the capsule to each room. The ATW-T3201 transmitter accepts cH-style screw-down 4-pin microphones.

Audio-Technica ATW-3211 3000 Series bodypack wireless system without microphone

The platform is identical to Audio-Technica's bundled 3000 Series systems. The receiver scans and IR-syncs frequencies to the transmitter, and a backup frequency can be recalled if interference appears. If you prefer a complete package, the ATW-3211/831 lavalier system and the ATW-3211/892X headworn system ship with a microphone included.

For AV system integration, the half-rack ATW-R3210 receiver mounts in a standard rack and provides balanced XLR (+14 dBV) and unbalanced ¼″ (+8 dBV) outputs. The transmitter offers a switchable high-pass filter and gain adjustable in 2 dB increments to match whichever element you install.

Key Features

  • Microphone not included by design — The system gives integrators the receiver and transmitter so they can specify the exact cH-style lavalier or headworn element each room needs.
  • cH-style transmitter input — The ATW-T3201 accepts cH-style screw-down 4-pin microphones, matching Audio-Technica's broad range of compatible capsules.
  • Frequency-agile true diversity UHF — A 60 MHz tuning range in the 470–530 MHz band supports multi-channel coordination across a facility.
  • IR sync and backup frequency — Frequencies sync by infrared and a backup channel can be recalled instantly if interference occurs.
  • Rack-mount receiver with balanced output — Half-rack form and balanced XLR output simplify integration into commercial AV racks and DSP front ends.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why would I buy a system with no microphone?

Integrators often standardize on a specific lavalier or headworn capsule, or want to match the element to each room. Buying the receiver and transmitter alone lets you add the cH-style microphone you prefer.

Which microphones are compatible?

The ATW-T3201 transmitter uses a cH-style screw-down 4-pin connector, so Audio-Technica cH-terminated lavalier and headworn elements work with it. Confirm the specific element's connector before ordering.

Which frequency band is included?

This configuration is DE2, tuning across 470–530 MHz. Confirm the band is clear and legal for wireless microphone use in your region.

How does it integrate with our AV system?

The half-rack receiver mounts in a standard rack and feeds balanced XLR or unbalanced ¼″ audio to a DSP, mixer, or matrix.

Can I run several of these together?

Yes. The wide tuning range and scan function let you coordinate multiple compatible channels in the same room or facility.

What warranty and support apply?

Audio-Technica provides a limited warranty; refer to their current terms. Creation Networks supports warranty and integration questions on systems purchased through us.
