The Audio-Technica AT8545 is an in-line power module that adapts cH-style screw-down 4-pin microphones to a standard 3-pin XLR output for hardwired use. It lets an integrator take a cH-terminated headworn or lavalier element and connect it directly to a phantom-powered mixer or DSP. A recessed filter switch makes it a practical in-line microphone power module for commercial AV reinforcement.
Product Description
The AT8545 accepts a cH-style screw-down 4-pin microphone input and provides a 3-pin XLRM output, operating on 11V to 52V phantom power supplied by your console, interface, or DSP. This converts a wireless-style cH element into a wired microphone for fixed installations.
A recessed switch selects flat response or an integral 80 Hz UniSteep high-pass filter, which attenuates low-frequency ambient noise while preserving speech clarity. The compact in-line housing fits neatly into a rack or under a lectern.
The AT8545 is the power module included with Audio-Technica's wired BP892x headworn microphone, and it can power other compatible cH-style elements for hardwired AV use.
