The Audio-Technica AT829cH is a miniature cardioid condenser lavalier microphone terminated for Audio-Technica cH-style body-pack wireless transmitters. Its cardioid pattern with a 120-degree angle of acceptance rejects off-axis sound to improve gain-before-feedback for presenters and lecturers. A clothing clip and windscreen are included for ready use in commercial AV rooms.
Product Description
Clipped to a lapel, the AT829cH delivers clear, intelligible speech for sound reinforcement and lecture capture on a wireless body-pack system. Its directional cardioid pattern helps control feedback where loudspeakers are active.
The microphone uses a 55″ (1.4 m) permanently attached cable with a screw-down 4-pin cH-style connector that mates with compatible Audio-Technica body-pack transmitters. An included clothing clip and windscreen support immediate deployment.
For wired use with a phantom power module instead of a transmitter, the AT831R cardioid lavalier is a comparable option.
