The AE3300 delivers detailed, present vocal reproduction with the AT4033-derived element, and its cardioid pattern rejects off-axis sound to control feedback in reinforced rooms. The handheld body and grille are built for live performance.
A switchable 10 dB pad and a switch for flat response or an 80 Hz high-pass filter let an engineer condition the microphone for the room. Output impedance is 150 ohms, and maximum SPL is 147 dB (157 dB with the pad). The microphone requires 48V phantom power.
