What is the AUDAC VEXO8/B 8" loudspeaker?
The AUDAC VEXO8/B is a compact, high-output 8" two-way loudspeaker in black for bars, restaurants, hotels, clubs and sporting facilities. It pairs a high-efficiency 8" mid/low woofer with a 1" compression driver on a rotatable 100° x 80° horn, handling 175 W continuous (AES) and reaching 115 dB maximum SPL. A revolving zinc-alloy wall bracket is included, and the cabinet mounts horizontally or vertically. It is also available in white as the VEXO8/W.
How does the AUDAC VEXO8/B 8" loudspeaker work?
The VEXO8/B uses a 1" compression driver loaded on a 100° x 80° horn and an 8" mid/low driver, crossed over passively at 1.25 kHz for a 65 Hz – 20 kHz response (±3 dB). The horn rotates so the cabinet can be mounted horizontally or vertically while keeping the intended dispersion, and the logo rotates to match. Self-resetting protection circuitry limits overload on the compression driver. Two Speakon-compatible connectors provide an input and a link output, so several cabinets can be daisy-chained on one amplifier channel. The included two-way revolving bracket allows mounting at angles up to 20°, and the optional WBP100 wall bracket plate is available for wall installs. For portable or temporary systems, the optional CHB196 35 mm pole adapter fits a speaker stand. AUDAC recommends extending the VEXO8 with a subwoofer such as the BASSO112, BASSO115 or BASO15, driven by an SMQ500, SMQ750 or SMQ1250 amplifier. The MDF cabinet has a structured coating and steel grill in black (RAL9004).

What amplifier should I use?
The VEXO8 is an 8 Ω passive cabinet rated 350 W program. AUDAC lists the SMA/SMQ350, SMA/SMQ500, SMA/SMQ750 and SMQ1250 as compatible amplifiers; we can size the right one for your cabinet count.
Does it need a subwoofer?
AUDAC recommends adding a subwoofer for deep bass. Its FORTE set solutions pair two VEXO8 with a BASSO112, BASSO115 or BASO15 subwoofer and an SMQ amplifier.
Can it work on a 70V or 100V line?
AUDAC lists the VEXO8 as an 8 Ω loudspeaker and does not list a line transformer for this model. Contact us if your system uses distributed 70V or 100V lines.
Can it be mounted vertically?
Yes. The horn and logo rotate, so the cabinet can be installed horizontally or vertically.
