The VEXO106 combines a 6.5" low-frequency driver with a 1" compression driver through a passive built-in crossover, giving 80 Hz – 25 kHz (±3 dB) response and 92 dB sensitivity at 8 Ω. Power handling is 125 W continuous (AES), 250 W program and 500 W peak. Unlike the larger VEXO models, the VEXO106 uses a fixed horn whose custom throat design produces 116° horizontal and 128° vertical coverage, so fewer cabinets can cover a wide listening area. The cabinet is 15 mm (0.59 in) multiplex plywood with a polyurea coating, finished with a powder-coated steel grill and acoustical foam. Two Speakon-compatible connectors provide linkthrough, and the backplate can be replaced with the optional TRM012 70/100V transformer module for use on distributed 70 V or 100 V lines. M8 rigging points on the top and bottom and an M10 drop-safety point on the rear support the MBK106V/W clever U-bracket, which allows horizontal, vertical or ceiling mounting, and the MBK500/W two-way revolving bracket. AUDAC set solutions pair two VEXO106 with a BASSO112 subwoofer and SMQ750 amplifier, or with a BASSO115 and SMQ1250, and the FESTA106.2 set uses an SMQ500.
