The HS212MK2 is a passive, low-impedance (8 Ω) horn system. A built-in passive crossover at 1.5 kHz splits the signal between the 12" woofer and the 1.8" compression driver, whose horn is built as one piece with the enclosure. The result is an 80 Hz – 18 kHz response (±3 dB), 95 dB sensitivity and 125 dB maximum SPL, giving clear, intelligible speech at low distortion along with full-range music. The 40° x 40° coverage concentrates energy for long throw, so fewer cabinets cover a large stand or field.
