Its tight 40° x 40° coverage pattern concentrates energy over long distances, which keeps speech intelligible across large open areas such as sports fields, parking areas and outdoor event spaces. On a 100V distributed line, installers choose 240 W, 120 W or 60 W tappings; for low-impedance systems, the 8 Ω setting connects directly to a power amplifier. Does it work on 70V systems?
AUDAC specifies a 100V line transformer with 240 W, 120 W and 60 W tappings, plus an 8 Ω low-impedance setting. AUDAC does not list 70V tappings, so contact us before designing it into a 70V system.
Is a mounting bracket included?
No. Mounting bracket fixing holes are provided on the cabinet, and AUDAC offers the optional MBK212MK2 bracket for the HS212TMK2.
Can it be installed outdoors?
Yes. AUDAC rates the HS212TMK2 IP65, and its acoustic foam, coated composite enclosure and shielded cable clamps are designed for humid and wet locations.
