What is the AUDAC CELO2I/W ceiling speaker?
The AUDAC CELO2I/W is a 2-inch high-end, slim in-ceiling loudspeaker from AUDAC's CELO series, built with a 2" full-range driver and rated at 10 W continuous (AES) into 8 Ω. Its SlimLine grille has a 1 mm border and is held on by neodymium magnets, so the speaker nearly disappears in the ceiling. It suits offices, conference rooms, retail, hotels and restaurants that want background music and clear paging without visible hardware.
How does the AUDAC CELO2I/W work?
Each CELO speaker installs with a four-screw quick-fixing mechanism, and the wiring lands on gold-plated Gold-Con spring clamps instead of screw terminals. Sensitivity is 83 dB (1W/1m) with 165° conical coverage.
The CELO2 is a 8 Ω low-impedance speaker. For 70V/100V distributed systems, AUDAC offers the optional WTR06 (6 W, 100V) line transformer. The white grille is RAL9016 and can be painted to match the ceiling, and AUDAC also offers replacement grilles. The AUDAC CELO2DI is the same speaker at 16 Ω. Compare the CELO range:
