What is the Atlas Sound IED1112PSM?
The IED1112PSM is the plug-in 12V DC power supply module used inside the Atlas Sound IED1112PS rack power supply chassis. One ships standard with every IED1112PS; a second module is sold separately to add hot-swap redundancy.
What does the Atlas Sound IED1112PSM do?
Each module can deliver up to 37 amps of 12V DC power to as many as eight connected GLOBALCOM devices. When a second module is installed alongside the first, the two run in a redundant configuration: if one module fails, the remaining module automatically assumes the full load without interrupting power to any connected device, and a failed module can be swapped out while the system stays powered by the other. A fault relay de-energizes on module failure, a signal that can be monitored through the GLOBALCOM supervision system for automated alerting.
