What is the Atlas Sound IED1112PS?
The IED1112PS is a 1RU rack-mount power supply chassis providing 12V DC power for up to eight GLOBALCOM devices, including 1100ACS, 1200ACS, 1100MSG, 1200MSG, IP100 series, and 1100DAB series units, from a single supply.
How does the Atlas Sound IED1112PS work?
The IED1112PS ships with a single 1112PSM power supply module capable of delivering up to 37 amps of 12V DC power across eight fused output ports on the rear of the chassis. Each connected device attaches to its own individually fused output port, and a rear security cover locks the connectors in place to prevent accidental disconnection during live operation. For reliability-critical installations, a second 1112PSM module can be added for hot-swappable redundancy: if the primary module fails, the secondary assumes the full load without interrupting power to any connected device, and a fault relay signals the failure to the GLOBALCOM supervision system for automated alerting. Universal AC input accommodates worldwide deployments without manual voltage switching.
