Product Overview
The Atlas Sound AZM4 is a 4-zone audio processor and the heart of an AtlasIED Atmosphere audio control system, built for multi-zone commercial audio installation in restaurants, offices, schools, and hospitality venues. It combines DSP processing with automation features — a built-in message player, bell scheduler, learning ambient noise sensing, auto-gain, GPIO, and room combine — so the system manages itself after commissioning. Programming happens entirely through an on-board web interface, with no software downloads or programming certification required. For integrators and facilities managers who need dependable zone audio control with minimal ongoing maintenance, the AZM4 is a practical four-zone platform.
Product Description

The AZM4 anchors a commercial zone audio system with four independently processed output zones and a feature set aimed at automated, hands-off operation. The built-in message player handles announcements and scheduled audio, the bell scheduler supports education and shift-change applications, and learning ambient noise sensing with auto noise compensation keeps program audio intelligible as room occupancy changes. A high-priority GPI input integrates with fire alarm and life-safety systems to mute or override audio when required, and Loud Noise Detection adds another layer of automated response. The processor also includes a full sound masking suite of configuration tools for open-office speech privacy applications.
The AZM4 is compatible with all six Atmosphere wall plate accessories for control, remote audio input, and ambient noise sensing. Up to 16 plug-and-play accessories connect across two accessory ports, each reliable up to 1,000 feet over standard category cable, and a zone paging station can be added for live paging — a meaningful labor savings on commercial AV deployment compared with home-run analog control wiring. Configuration uses a modern on-board web interface built on Progressive Web App technology, so it is device agnostic and responsive on any browser. In addition to Ethernet, built-in Wi-Fi lets the AZM4 act as its own access point or join an existing wireless network, and app-less virtual wall controllers are distributed to staff via QR code or URL. Third-party control modules are available for Crestron, Extron, AMX, and RTI control system integration. Pair the AZM4 with AtlasIED amplifiers and loudspeakers from our AtlasIED collection, including the matching AZA404 four-channel amplifier, for a complete zone audio system.
