Reverberant rooms with hard floors, glass, and high ceilings defeat conventional point-source speakers. The ALA10TAW addresses this with a column line array format: ten proprietary 3" (76mm) full-range drivers stacked in a sealed extruded aluminum enclosure, crossed over passively at 3.5kHz to four 22mm high-frequency tweeters. The result is a tall, narrow vertical pattern that projects clear speech deep into seating areas while limiting ceiling and floor reflections, the core requirement for house of worship sound system upgrades and government meeting room AV installations. The passive 2-way system handles 200W RMS and 400W peak in low-impedance mode, with 96dB sensitivity and up to 122dB peak SPL.
