The Allen & Heath AH-M-AVSOLO-ULTRAFX-RUFX is the RackUltra FX card upgrade for the Avantis Solo digital mixer. It adds eight RackUltra FX engines to a dPack-enabled Avantis Solo, bringing dLive-class vocal processing, reverbs, harmonisers and saturation to the console without using any of its channels, busses or RackExtra FX slots. It is the card-only option for owners whose Solo already runs dPack.
How does the Allen & Heath Avantis Solo RackUltra FX card work?
The RackUltra FX card is a hardware module installed inside the console by an Allen & Heath Authorised Service Centre. Once fitted, it powers eight additional stereo effects engines with dedicated sends and returns that run in parallel with the 12 RackExtra FX racks already on Avantis.
The card enables the RackUltra FX collection, a set of 10 algorithms including Vocal Tuner, Vocal Gridder and Vocal Shifter for pitch work, Spaces Reverb Designer and Plate Reverb Designer, harmonisers, Saturator and Amp+Cab Distortion. Every FX input and output has 4-band PEQ, plus built-in compression, gating, expansion and ducking with sidechain.
