Allen & Heath Avantis Solo with dPack – 64-Channel Digital Console, Studio-Grade Processing
The Allen & Heath AH-AVANTIS-SOLO-W-DPACK is a 64-channel, 42-bus digital mixing console that combines the compact single-screen Avantis Solo form factor with the dPack processing bundle pre-installed. Powered by the XCVI FPGA core at 96kHz with 0.7ms latency, the Avantis Solo with dPack delivers dLive-class dynamics, DEEP compressor emulations, and Dyn8 multiband processors directly on input and mix channels without consuming FX slots. It is designed for demanding live sound, house of worship, broadcast, and installed AV environments where processing depth is non-negotiable.
Product Description
The Avantis Solo platform condenses the Avantis system into a single 15.6-inch Full HD capacitive touchscreen format with 12 physical faders across 6 layers — giving access to 72 fully assignable strips. The Continuity UI links the touchscreen and physical controls so engineers can work efficiently without switching modes or navigating menus. The dPack bundle extends the system with three processing tiers: DEEP provides zero-latency compressor and preamp emulations embedded per-channel; Dyn8 adds a four-band dynamic EQ plus four-band multiband compressor on each channel, with up to 16 Dyn8 engines deployable across input and mix channels simultaneously; and exclusive RackExtra FX processors including the Transient Controller and HypaBass expand the onboard effect library beyond the standard 12 FX slots.
I/O is built around 6 analogue XLR inputs, 6 analogue XLR outputs, 1 stereo AES in/out, and 2 high-density I/O ports each capable of 128x128 channels at 96kHz. These ports accept Dante, MADI, and gigaACE option cards, integrating the Avantis Solo into networked AV infrastructure. The SLink port connects to the Everything I/O range of remote expanders and ME Personal Mixing System. AMM (Automatic Mic Mixer) handles up to 64 channels across 1, 2, or 4 zones, supporting conference, worship, and multi-room applications. With 16 DCAs, 18 assignable SoftKeys, BNC Word Clock, and USB stereo record/playback, the Avantis Solo with dPack is a self-contained production platform in a full metal chassis.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What does the dPack bundle include?
- The dPack licence activates three processing tiers: DEEP (zero-latency compressor and Dual-Stage Valve preamp emulations per channel), Dyn8 (four-band dynamic EQ and four-band multiband compressor, up to 16 engines), and exclusive RackExtra FX including Transient Controller and HypaBass. All are included and pre-activated on the Avantis Solo with dPack.
- How does the Avantis Solo with dPack differ from the standard Avantis Solo?
- The hardware is identical. The difference is the dPack software licence, which activates the advanced processing tiers listed above. The standard Avantis Solo does not include dPack; it can be added as an upgrade licence later.
- Does this console require a separate MixRack?
- No. The Avantis Solo is a standalone console with onboard processing and I/O. Remote I/O expanders can be connected via the SLink port to extend the local channel count.
- What network audio protocols are supported?
- The two I/O expansion ports accept Dante, MADI, and gigaACE option cards at 128x128 channels and 96kHz, covering the major networked AV protocols used in commercial installations and broadcast.
- Is Automatic Mic Mixing included?
- Yes. AMM is built into the Avantis platform and supports up to 64 channels in D-Classic or NOM mode, across 1, 2, or 4 independent zones. This is part of the base system, not the dPack upgrade.
- Can the console be controlled remotely?
- Yes. The Avantis supports remote mixing via iPad and laptop software over network, plus Allen & Heath IP remote controllers and third-party TCP/IP control.
- What warranty applies?
- Allen & Heath products carry a standard manufacturer warranty when purchased through an authorised dealer. Contact Creation Networks for warranty registration and support details.
