The Allen & Heath AH-M-AVSOLO-ULTRAFX-DPACK-RUFX is an upgrade bundle for an existing Avantis Solo digital mixer that includes both the RackUltra FX card and Avantis dPack. Together they bring a standard Avantis Solo up to the Avantis Solo Ultra specification: 96 input channels, 56 configurable mixes, DEEP processing and eight RackUltra FX engines. It is the most direct route to Ultra performance for venues, churches and rental companies that already own an Avantis Solo.
How does the Allen & Heath Avantis Solo RackUltra FX and dPack upgrade work?
dPack expands the Avantis Solo mix architecture from 64 to 96 input channels and from 42 to 56 configurable mixes. It adds dLive processing including 24 Dyn8 instances, DEEP compressors (16T, 16VU, Bus, CompStortion, Mighty, Opto, OptTronik and PeakLimiter 76), Source and Dual Threshold expanders, the Dual Stage Valve preamp, NEQ12 EQ, and the Hypabass and Transient Controller RackExtra FX.
The RackUltra FX card is hardware installed in the console by an Allen & Heath Authorised Service Centre. It adds eight RackUltra FX engines to a dPack-enabled Avantis without consuming any of the platform's channels, busses or RackExtra FX slots. The RackUltra FX collection covers vocal processing (Vocal Tuner, Vocal Gridder, Vocal Shifter), Spaces and Plate reverb designers, harmonisers and tone tools such as Saturator and Amp+Cab Distortion, with PEQ and dynamics on every FX input and output. Because the card must be fitted by a service centre, plan the upgrade between events; Creation Networks can coordinate the work as part of a system service.
