The Adder EW-X50 is a 1-year enhanced warranty for AdderLink X50 and X50-MS2 KVM extenders, adding a year of manufacturer hardware coverage on top of the standard Adder warranty. Under Adder's Enhanced Warranty program, the standard 2-year warranty can be extended up to 5 years of total coverage, with faulty units tested and repaired on a 5-working-day turnaround. It is a low-cost way to keep VGA and USB KVM extension links under warranty for the full life of the installation.
Product Description
AdderLink X50 extenders are workhorses — they put a transparent USB and VGA console up to 50 meters from the host computer over CATx cabling, and they tend to stay in service for years in classrooms, kiosks, industrial floors, and back offices. The EW-X50 enhanced warranty matches that service life: each purchase adds one year of coverage, and additional years can be stacked up to a 5-year total.
When a covered unit develops a fault, Adder tests and repairs it within 5 working days of receipt, keeping the repair pipeline predictable for support teams managing many extension points. The plan covers both the standard X50 and the dual-head X50-MS2 model. Coverage is most effective when purchased alongside the hardware so there is no gap between standard and extended terms.
