Measuring just 110 x 55 x 25 mm with a 300mm flying lead, the ALIF101T-HDMI attaches directly behind the source computer and connects via one HDMI input and two USB 2.0 Type-A connectors. Drawing under three watts in typical use from the host's USB ports, it dramatically reduces power-provisioning and air-conditioning requirements in dense server rooms, while options for external 5V or redundant power remain available.

Adder's spatially-lossless encoding with 1:1 pixel mapping delivers HDMI video to the receiver that is identical to the video leaving the computer — color accurate, artifact-free and updated in real time. USB 2.0 with class control supports low, full and high-speed devices including graphics tablets, jog shuttles, joysticks and mass storage, and non-HID devices can be disabled for secure installations without physically blocking ports. Bi-directional 2-channel USB audio at 16-bit/48kHz and HDMI-embedded linear PCM audio are both supported.

The transmitter links to the network through a single RJ45 port at 1GbE over CAT5e or better cable, reaching 100m/328ft per hop.
