Product Description

At just 110 x 55 x 25 mm with a 300mm flying lead, the ALIF101T-DVI mounts directly behind the source computer, connecting through one DVI-D input and two USB 2.0 Type-A plugs. It consumes under three watts in typical use — powered entirely by the host's USB ports — which significantly reduces power-provisioning and cooling requirements in dense server rooms. External 5V and redundant power options are available where the USB budget is constrained.

Adder's spatially-lossless encoding with 1:1 pixel mapping ensures the video at the receiver is identical to the video leaving the computer: color accurate, artifact-free and updated in real time, with support for dithered video from some Mac sources. USB 2.0 with class control handles low, full and high-speed devices — graphics tablets, jog shuttles, joysticks, mass storage — and can disable non-HID devices for secure environments without physically capping ports.
