Product Description

DVI-D remains a dependable digital video interface across signage players, industrial PCs, and control room workstations, and the DV120 gives those systems a clean extension path over structured cabling. The ALDV120T connects to the source machine through a DVI-D male connector and a USB Type A plug used purely for power, then links to the remote receiver over a single CATx run.

Video is transmitted with an uncompressed communication system and zero data loss, so the remote screen shows a pixel-perfect copy of the source at resolutions including 480p, 720p, 1080p, and WUXGA (1920 x 1200) @ 60Hz with 24-bit color. EDID management allows the remote system to exactly mirror the data coming from the source monitor, eliminating resolution mismatches during deployment.

The unit is housed in a tough but lightweight injection-molded ABS enclosure measuring 45 x 63 x 21 mm with 30 cm pigtails, and its energy-efficient design uses less than an eighth of the power required by some competing systems — just 2.5W at 5VDC for transmitter and receiver combined. Extenders are delivered in a zero-config state and work as soon as they are connected, with no drivers or software, on all known operating systems.
