The ADDERLink INFINITY Manager transforms ALIF extender endpoints into a high-performance IP KVM matrix over standard IP networks — routing any user station to any connected computer, supporting co-operative sharing of computers, and multicasting video without compromising video quality or control. As deployments grow, AIM license tiers scale from the base 24 endpoints on the ASP-001 AIM server up through 48, 96, 192, 288, and unlimited. UPG SKUs upgrade an existing license between tiers, and this -BCK variant keeps both the primary and the backup AIM appliance licensed at the new 288-endpoint level, preserving failover protection through the expansion.

Because the upgrade is delivered as an electronic license key applied to the AIM servers, no hardware changes are required: the existing primary and backup units — which together occupy a single 1U rack space — remain in place, and each appliance keeps its dual network interfaces (2x SFP plus 1x RJ45, 1GbE), independently routed or teamed per your network design.
