The Adder AIMLIC-UPG-192-UNL is an AIM license upgrade that moves a primary ADDERLink INFINITY Manager (AIM) server from 192 endpoints to unlimited endpoints. It is the final capacity step for large KVM-over-IP deployments that have reached the 192-endpoint tier and want to remove endpoint limits from future planning. The upgrade is delivered electronically as a license key applied to the existing AIM server, with no hardware changes. After application, the IP KVM matrix can manage any number of ADDERLink INFINITY extender endpoints.

Product Description

The ADDERLink INFINITY Manager ASP-001 is the management server that transforms ADDERLink INFINITY (ALIF) extender endpoints into a high-performance IP KVM matrix over standard IP networks. Licensed capacity progresses through 48, 96, 192, and 288 tiers up to unlimited; this UPG SKU takes a server already at 192 endpoints straight to the unlimited tier, the same entitlement provided by the AIMLIC-UNL license for new deployments.

At unlimited capacity, the matrix can grow with the facility: additional ALIF transmitters and receivers can be added at any time without further licensing events. AIM continues to provide routing of any user station to any connected computer, co-operative sharing of machines between multiple users, and video multicasting to many destinations without compromising video quality or control responsiveness.

The AIM server occupies 1U of rack space and provides dual network interfaces (2× SFP + 1× RJ45, 1GbE) that can be routed independently or teamed. This SKU licenses the primary AIM server only; deployments operating a backup/failover unit should select the corresponding "-BCK" upgrade so both servers carry matching entitlements. Compatible ALIF hardware and accessories are available in the Adder Technology collection.
