The Z4KENCFLXR accepts HDMI 2.0 sources and encodes them to uncompressed 4KP60 4:4:4 IP video for long-distance distribution over 1300nm single-mode fiber at 10Gbit speeds. Single-mode fiber enables significantly greater transmission distances than multimode, making this encoder appropriate for inter-building, campus-wide, or large-facility deployments where the fiber plant uses single-mode cable. The fanless, compact form factor ensures silent operation without moving parts, appropriate for wiring closets, rack rooms, and noise-sensitive production environments.
