Product Overview
The Yamaha ADECIA RM-TT is a wired tabletop array microphone pod designed for professional conference rooms requiring Dante-networked audio over a single PoE cable. Each pod connects via one Cat 5e+ STP cable carrying Dante audio, control, and IEEE 802.3af power simultaneously, eliminating separate power infrastructure at the conference table. The RM-TT supports six selectable polar patterns and onboard Auto Voice Tracking, making it adaptable to varied table shapes, room sizes, and seating configurations. It is sold as an individual pod for integrators expanding existing ADECIA systems or building new wired tabletop deployments alongside the RM-CR processor and SWR network switch.
Product Description

The RM-TT measures W140 × D140 × H41.5 mm and weighs 310g, providing a low-profile presence on the conference table. The RJ45 port accepts a single Cat 5e+ STP cable that delivers Dante audio (1 in / 2 out at 48kHz/24-bit), control signals, and up to 4.5W of PoE power from the SWR-2100P-5G or any compatible IEEE 802.3af switch. Standard Dante latency is 46ms; low-latency mode reduces this to 20ms (50ms/23ms for the toroidal pattern).
Six polar patterns — Cardioid, Hyper-cardioid, Super-cardioid, Omnidirectional, Bidirectional, and Toroid — are selectable per pod through ADECIA management software, giving the designer precise control over coverage shape. Integrated signal processing includes AEC, Noise Reduction, Dereverberation, Auto Mixer, AGC, PEQ, and Output Gain, operating without external DSP. Auto Voice Tracking continuously steers the active capture zone toward the speaking participant. Maximum SPL is 106.8 dB with a self-noise of 6.3 dBA, SNR of 87.7 dBA, and dynamic range of 100.5 dBA — specifications appropriate for demanding commercial conference environments.
Up to 14 RM-TT pods (16 without VXL1-16P) connect to a single RM-CR Remote Conference Processor, supporting large tables and multi-zone layouts. Status and mute indicators are integrated into the pod. The RM-TT ships with an installation manual, tabletop mounting adapter, screws, and spacers. Available in white (RM-TT-W) or black (RM-TT-B) to match ceiling and furniture finishes. For complete ADECIA system bundles, visit creationnetworks.net.
Key Features
- Single-Cable PoE Connectivity — Dante audio, control, and power over one Cat 5e+ STP cable per pod; no separate power outlet required at the table.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Does the RM-TT work as a standalone microphone?
- No. The RM-TT requires the RM-CR Remote Conference Processor for audio processing, Auto Tuning, and UC platform connectivity. It also requires a compatible PoE switch (such as the SWR-2100P-5G). The RM-TT is sold as an individual pod for integrators building or expanding a complete ADECIA wired tabletop system.
- How many RM-TT pods can connect to one RM-CR?
- Up to 14 RM-TT pods can be connected to a single RM-CR Remote Conference Processor (or 16 pods when VXL1-16P is not in use). This supports large conference tables and multi-zone room layouts.
- What cabling does the RM-TT require?
- Each RM-TT connects via a single Cat 5e or better shielded twisted pair (STP) cable to an IEEE 802.3af PoE switch. This cable carries Dante audio, control signals, and power simultaneously. No additional cabling or power outlet is required at the pod location.
- Can polar patterns be changed after installation?
- Yes. The six polar patterns can be reconfigured through ADECIA management software at any time without physical access to the pod. This allows integrators and facilities managers to adapt coverage as room usage changes.
- What is the difference between RM-TT-W and RM-TT-B?
- RM-TT-W is the white finish for light-colored furniture and ceilings; RM-TT-B is the black finish for dark furniture or design-forward environments. All technical specifications are identical.
- Is the RM-TT compatible with Microsoft Teams and Zoom?
- Yes, when used with the RM-CR processor, the system connects via USB, Bluetooth, or analog audio I/O to any UC platform running on Windows, macOS, iOS, or Android, including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco Webex, and others.
- Does the RM-TT require external DSP?
- No. AEC, Noise Reduction, Dereverberation, Auto Mixer, AGC, PEQ, and Output Gain are all processed onboard the RM-TT pod. For most commercial conference rooms, no third-party DSP hardware is required alongside the ADECIA system.
