The Williams AV CHG 3502 is a dual-bay drop-in battery charger for Williams AV body-pack transmitters and receivers, including select T36, T46, R37, and Motiva models. Components dock directly into the two bays and the charger recharges the NiMH AA batteries inside — no battery removal needed. It is a simple, dependable charging solution for small FM, infrared, and hearing loop assistive listening systems.
Product Description
Compatibility spans the PLR BP1 loop receiver, PPA R37, R37-8, and R38 FM receivers, PPA T46 FM transmitter, WIR RX22-4 infrared receiver, and Motiva PFM T36, PFM R36, and PFM R33 personal FM units — making the CHG 3502 a fit for classroom FM systems and small venue receiver pairs alike. Devices must have NiMH batteries installed and be set to the NiMH battery setting before docking.
A red LED at each bay confirms charging is in progress, and the full recharge cycle takes 16 hours nominal — sized for overnight charging. It is safe to leave components docked after the batteries reach full charge, so units stay ready between sessions. The ABS chassis measures under five inches long, fitting on a lectern shelf or AV cart, and the included power supply accepts 100-240 VAC.
