Product Overview
The Williams AV ANT 034 is a 75-ohm rack-mountable remote rubber duckie antenna with a swivel F-connector, designed for 72–76 MHz operation with Williams AV FM assistive listening transmitters such as the PPA T27, PPA T35, PPA T35-01, PPA T45, and PPA T45NET (sold separately). A 3-foot RG-59 coax run lets the antenna mount at the rack face while the transmitter sits inside the enclosure. It is the standard remote antenna choice for rack-built FM hearing assistance systems.
Product Description
In a rack-mounted assistive listening head end, the transmitter's own antenna ends up buried behind a metal faceplate and surrounded by other gear — the worst possible RF environment. The ANT 034 brings the radiating element to the front of the rack: its rack-mountable design positions the rubber duckie antenna outside the enclosure, and the swivel F-connector lets the installer pivot the antenna to a vertical orientation, which Williams AV specifies for best performance and FCC compliance.
The 3-foot RG-59 coax connects back to the transmitter's F-connector with a matched 75-ohm impedance, keeping insertion loss low over the short run. Take care not to bend the coax sharply at any point during installation. The ANT 034 is a natural fit alongside rack-mounted FM transmitters from our Williams AV assistive listening collection, including FM+ platforms like the Williams AV FM 557-12 large-area FM and Wi-Fi system.
