The Williams AV TFP 065 is the replacement power supply for the IR M1 and IR M1 D infrared control centers at the heart of the IR+ large-area assistive listening platform. It restores power to the modulator/controller that drives IR+ emitter arrays in auditoriums, courtrooms, and performing arts venues. Facilities running IR+ systems stock the TFP 065 so a failed supply never interrupts an ADA-required listening service.
Product Description
In an IR+ system, the IR M1 control center handles audio input, modulation, and distribution to IR E4 emitters and IR A4 emitter arrays — which makes its power supply a single point of failure for the entire assistive listening system. The TFP 065 is the vendor-specified supply for both the standard IR M1 and the Dante-equipped IR M1 D, so one spare covers either controller in mixed installations. Specifying the OEM part guarantees correct voltage, current capacity, and connector fit, which matters for a controller that may be feeding multiple emitter zones at full output. The TFP 065 is a logical add-on when commissioning a new IR+ system, and a sensible line item on service contracts covering venues where hearing assistance availability is mandated.
