The NKL 001-S neckloop coupler is designed for individuals with moderate to severe hearing loss who use hearing aids or cochlear implants with a T-coil switch. It connects to the 3.5 mm stereo output of Williams Sound PockeTalker 2.0, FM receivers, and select IR receivers, and converts the electrical audio signal into a magnetic induction field that the T-coil in the user's hearing device can detect. This allows the amplified audio signal to be received and processed directly by the hearing aid, without occupying the ear canal with a physical earphone. The 18-inch adult-sized cord keeps the personal amplifier or FM receiver within reach during use. The monoaural output is standard for assistive listening induction loops; the stereo plug simply ensures compatibility with stereo-output devices while delivering mono audio. For devices with a mono output plug, the NKL 001 (mono plug version) is also available.
