The NKL 001 mono neckloop works by creating a magnetic induction field around the user's neck from the audio output of a compatible personal amplifier or FM receiver. When a hearing aid's T-coil (telecoil) switch is activated, it detects this field and feeds the audio signal into the hearing aid's processing circuitry, delivering amplified sound in a way that complements the user's existing hearing device.
