Product Description

The MIC 149 connects via a 3.5mm mono plug to Williams AV PPA T46, PPA T27, and IR T2 transmitters, enabling tabletop speech pickup for FM and IR assistive listening system transmitters. The omnidirectional electret capsule with -40 dB sensitivity and 1500Ω output impedance is designed for close-field conference table use, where the microphone sits on the table surface while the transmitter is positioned nearby or on a podium. The 39" (99 cm) cord provides adequate reach from the transmitter to tabletop placement. The 60mm diameter x 16mm height puck form factor is unobtrusive on presentation and conference surfaces, and bias power (1.0–10 VDC) is supplied by the connected transmitter with no external power required. The MIC 149 is appropriate for ADA hearing accommodation transmitter inputs in boardrooms, conference centers, courtrooms, and houses of worship where a fixed-position tabletop microphone is preferred over a headset or lavalier.
