The Williams AV MIC 100 is a unidirectional headset microphone with a 3.5mm right-angle mono plug, designed for use with PPA T27, PPA T46, and DLT 400 transmitters. The electret-condenser capsule with cardioid pickup pattern provides improved RF resistance and is suited for high-noise environments where omni microphones would pick up excessive ambient sound. A replacement windscreen (WND 009) is available separately for hygiene management in shared deployments.

Product Description

The MIC 100 addresses deployments where standard omnidirectional headset microphones introduce too much ambient noise into the transmitted signal. Its unidirectional (cardioid) pickup pattern focuses on sound directly in front of the capsule, rejecting off-axis noise from HVAC systems, audience movement, and nearby speakers. The electret-condenser element with -70 dB sensitivity and 600Ω impedance is matched for the PPA T27, T46, and DLT 400 transmitter inputs. The 3.5mm right-angle mono plug and 47.3" cord are configured for body-worn transmitter use, with the right-angle plug reducing stress on the transmitter jack during movement. Improved RF resistance makes the MIC 100 a dependable choice in RF-dense environments such as conference centers, large venues, and facilities with multiple wireless systems operating simultaneously. The included foam windscreen and available WND 009 replacement windscreens provide pop and wind noise control for presenter applications.
