Product Description
The MIC 014-R electret condenser microphone plugs directly into the 3.5 mm mono input of the Williams Sound PockeTalker or Digi-Wave DLT 300 transceiver without requiring a separate cable run. The omnidirectional pickup pattern captures audio from all directions, making it suitable for use in face-to-face conversations, small meeting rooms, or any scenario where the speaker's position relative to the microphone may vary. The microphone capsule measures 10 mm in diameter without windscreen and 19 mm with the included windscreen installed. Frequency response extends from 20 Hz to 16 kHz, appropriate for clear speech reproduction. Output impedance is 2.2 kΩ and the standard operating voltage range is 2 to 10 V DC — compatible with the bias voltage provided by standard personal amplifier inputs. Signal-to-noise ratio exceeds 58 dB, providing adequate dynamic range for speech-intelligibility applications. The gold-colored microphone capsule is finished for corrosion resistance. Optional accessories include the WCA 007 12-foot extension cord, CLP 014 microphone clip, and WND 002 replacement windscreen.
