The Digi-Wave 400 Series is a digital spread-spectrum (DSS), simultaneous two-way wireless communication system. Unlike push-to-talk radios, Digi-Wave supports full-duplex conversation — both parties can speak and hear at the same time, like a phone call — which keeps communication natural during live instruction, interpretation, and event production. The frequency-hopping algorithm avoids interference from Wi-Fi and other 2.4 GHz devices, and optional 87+128-bit encryption with a PIN code and settings lock secures conversations in courtrooms, hospitals, and corporate facilities.

Each DLT 400 transceiver includes a built-in microphone, a 3.5 mm headset mic input, a 3.5 mm TRRS headphone output, and USB-C line input/output, with an OLED display for channel, group, and battery status. The included MIC 144 headset microphones keep both users hands-free. Internal lithium polymer batteries deliver up to 16 hours of talk time and recharge over USB-C in about five hours; the included DW ACC PAC power kit covers charging in the field.
