In new construction and code-driven commercial projects, low-voltage AV devices are often fed through conduit terminating at a junction box. The BKT 031 is built for exactly this scenario: its wall plate mounts directly over the junction box, and the bracket conceals connected cables for a finished, professional appearance with no exposed wiring. The engineered-plastic construction with fused epoxy finish carries a 10-pound load rating — more than three times the capacity of the lighter BKT 024 — so it handles larger IR emitters and combination devices with margin.

The ball-and-socket head swivels a full 360 degrees and tilts 90 degrees, while the 7-inch extension clears trim and ceiling lines to give the emitter unobstructed line-of-sight into the seating area. The bracket can also be inverse mounted for ceiling installations.
