The Williams AV DW SWUACM is a factory software upgrade that converts an existing DLT 400 transceiver into a DLT 400-ACM unit, adding Advanced Communication Mode for full-duplex production intercom. It lets integrators extend an installed Digi-Wave 400 Series system without purchasing new hardware.
Product Description
The DW SWUACM is a service-based upgrade for Digi-Wave 400 Series transceivers. The DLT 400 unit is sent to Williams AV in Minnesota, where the Advanced Communication Module firmware is applied, returning the unit with ACM functionality: full-duplex intercom, leader and guest roles, up to four subgroups, all-call, and private calls. The unit must have been produced on 01/21 or later to be eligible. This upgrade is a cost-effective way to standardize a mixed fleet on ACM or to repurpose listen-oriented transceivers for two-way production communication. Pair upgraded units with production headsets and DLR 400 RCH receivers for listen-only staff.
