Product Overview
The Williams AV Infinium BA SYS1 is a complete Auracast assistive listening system for commercial AV environments, packaging the Infinium CT1 controller and transmitter with two BA R1 receivers, headphones, neckloops, a 2-bay charger, rack mount kit, and ADA signage. Built on Bluetooth LE Audio broadcast, it delivers low-latency, high-fidelity audio to unlimited Auracast-enabled hearing aids, cochlear implants, and headphones — plus the included venue receivers — making it a turnkey ADA-compliant hearing solution for smaller venues and meeting spaces.
Product Description
The SYS1 gives integrators everything needed to commission Auracast broadcast audio in a single SKU. The rack-mount-ready controller accepts analog line-level or Dante network audio and is configured from its front-panel OLED display or remotely through a built-in web interface, with live audio monitoring available outside the coverage area for commissioning and troubleshooting. The included RPK 005 rack mount kit secures the half-rack controller in a standard 19-inch equipment rack.
The low-profile transmitter installs on a ceiling, wall, or shelf and connects to the controller with one CAT cable carrying audio, control, and PoE power, providing omnidirectional Auracast coverage up to 100 meters (328 ft). Guests with Auracast-enabled personal devices connect directly to the broadcast with no receiver count limit, while the two included Infinium R1 receivers — with headphones and T-coil neckloops — satisfy the venue-provided receiver portion of ADA assistive listening requirements. Each receiver features the largest OLED display in its class, per-ear balance control, and more than 20 hours of battery life, recharging in the included 2-bay drop-in charger. The Auracast ADA wall plaque completes signage requirements.
Venues expecting higher receiver demand should consider the Infinium Auracast system with 4 receivers, and additional R1 receivers and accessories are available in the Williams AV collection at Creation Networks.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the SYS1 enough for ADA compliance?
The SYS1 includes two venue-provided receivers, T-coil neckloops, and an Auracast ADA wall plaque — the core elements of an ADA-compliant assistive listening system. Required receiver counts scale with seating capacity, so larger venues may need additional R1 receivers or the 4-receiver SYS2 package.
Can guests use their own hearing aids or earbuds?
Yes. Any Auracast-enabled hearing aid, cochlear implant, or headphone can join the broadcast directly, with no limit on the number of simultaneous listeners. The included R1 receivers serve guests without Auracast-capable devices.
How does the system connect to an existing AV system?
The controller accepts analog line-level audio or a Dante network feed, so it drops into conference room DSP systems, house-of-worship consoles, and networked audio infrastructures without format converters.
How involved is the installation?
The controller mounts in a standard 19-inch rack using the included RPK 005 kit, and the transmitter requires a single CAT cable run from the controller for audio, control, and PoE power. Configuration is handled from the front panel or web interface.
Can the system handle interpretation or audio description?
Yes. The Infinium platform supports multilingual event audio and audio description in addition to assistive listening, broadcast over Auracast channels.
What warranty covers the system?
Williams AV provides a 2-year parts and labor warranty on the Infinium system components.
