Product Overview
The Williams AV IR SYS30-00 is a complete, medium-area infrared assistive listening system with Power over Ethernet, built for room-contained audio in commercial AV installations. It pairs the SoundPlus T3 infrared transmitter with two four-channel receivers, headphones, a neckloop, and a charging kit, making it a turnkey infrared assistive listening system for courtrooms, boardrooms, and government spaces. Because infrared stays inside the room, it delivers the signal privacy that RF and Wi-Fi systems cannot.
Product Description
The IR SYS30-00 provides everything an integrator needs to deploy a contained infrared assistive listening system in a single room. At its core is the IR T3 medium-area infrared transmitter, which broadcasts on up to two channels (2.3/2.8 MHz or 3.3/3.8 MHz) for dual-language interpretation or a single assistive-listening feed. The system includes two WIR RX22-4N four-channel infrared receivers, headphones, a neckloop for telecoil users, a two-bay charger, rechargeable batteries, and a remote power kit for the emitter. Infrared coverage reaches up to 32,000 ft2 single-channel with the included receivers when emitters are placed for line-of-sight. Power over Ethernet and a universal 48 VDC supply give installers flexible cabling, and RS-232 control supports integration with third-party AV control systems. The system is ideal where confidentiality is required, and additional receivers, earphones, and WIR RX22 receivers can be added as capacity grows.
