The Sonance VP 4-Inch Small Rectangle Retrofit Enclosure is built for adding a 4-inch Visual Performance speaker to an existing finished wall, sold as a pair. It is intended for use with Visual Performance speakers only, giving integrators a retrofit path for smaller-format VP installations.
Product Description
This retrofit enclosure is molded from glass-reinforced polypropylene and is built specifically for the small, 4-inch variant within the Sonance Visual Performance retrofit enclosure family, which also includes medium (6.5-inch) and large (8-inch) versions for bigger drivers. A key benefit of this enclosure is sound isolation: it is designed to reduce sound spillover between rooms or floors by up to 20dB compared to an open wall cavity, which matters in multi-room installations where bleed-through between spaces is a concern. It ships with a paintable, low-profile steel grille that can be finished to match the surrounding wall, and select configurations support pivoting woofer and tweeter options for improved on-axis coverage. The enclosure is available in both in-ceiling round and in-wall rectangle configurations and is backed by Sonance's Limited Lifetime Warranty when purchased through an authorized dealer such as Creation Networks. It is intended strictly for use with Visual Performance speakers rather than the newer Visual Experience line, so integrators should confirm which in-wall speaker platform is specified before ordering.
