What is the Vizrt VVSGPACY1 Viz Virtual Studio Go AR package?
The Vizrt VVSGPACY1 is the year-one Viz Virtual Studio Go AR package, bundling one graphics server, one Vizrt PTZ3 UHD camera and a one-year Viz Virtual Studio software license. It supports live augmented reality (AR) graphics only and arrives pre-installed and pre-configured, including an AR templated graphics scene and the Viz Arc control application. Vizrt describes Viz Virtual Studio Go as the world's first AR graphics and virtual studio in a box, built for corporate town halls and training, higher education, small studios and visual radio.
How does the Vizrt VVSGPACY1 work?
The server runs Viz Engine to render AR graphics over the tracked camera image from the PTZ3 UHD, using NDI with embedded FreeD tracking data so graphics stay locked to the scene as the camera pans, tilts and zooms. Vizrt pre-calibrates the system, including the lens, so it can be unboxed, powered up and used quickly. Operators drive AR elements such as text boxes, virtual screens showing NDI sources, clips or web pages, and bar and pie charts from Viz Arc, which also positions the PTZ3 UHD. The program feed goes to a switcher such as a TriCaster 2 Elite, and TriCaster macros can trigger graphics through the LivePanel workflow. Colors and logos can be customized, glTF 3D objects imported, and designers can build original scenes in Viz Artist. Vizrt quotes a one-month lead time.
