Vizrt PTAHRVCA – Advanced HW Replacement for Viz Connect Audio
What is the Vizrt PTAHRVCA?
The Vizrt PTAHRVCA is the ProTek Advanced Hardware Replacement add-on for the Viz Connect Audio, an 8-input, 4-output analog-to-NDI audio interface with front-panel and WebUI monitoring. Vizrt offers Advanced Hardware Replacement as an optional extra to ProTek Standard and ProTek Professional for customers who require expedited shipping of replacement hardware. It shortens the hardware side of a failure for Viz Connect Audio support, while the underlying ProTek plan handles technical support.
How does the Vizrt PTAHRVCA work?
Advanced Hardware Replacement sits on top of a ProTek Standard or ProTek Professional plan for the same Viz Connect Audio. The base plan provides the support channels, response targets, remote troubleshooting and software maintenance; this add-on covers expedited shipping of replacement hardware when Vizrt support confirms a hardware fault.
Without it, hardware issues follow the standard Vizrt warranty, repair and return process. With it, the replacement is shipped on an expedited basis, which matters when the unit is part of a live signal chain with no spare on the shelf.
Exact eligibility, shipping regions and terms are set by Vizrt; Creation Networks confirms them on your quote and registers the add-on with the base plan. Pair it with the matching ProTek plan for the Viz Connect Audio and browse related gear in the Vizrt live production collection, including the Viz Connect Audio 8x4 analog/NDI converter.
