The Vizrt SPTZHXUCC NDI|HX Upgrade for Sony Cameras is a software license that activates NDI|HX output on compatible Sony PTZ cameras. Designed for broadcast engineers and AV systems integrators, this upgrade enables native IP video streaming from Sony cameras directly into NDI-based production environments over standard gigabit Ethernet. No external encoder or signal converter is needed — once licensed, the camera appears as a discoverable NDI|HX source on the network.
Product Description
Sony PTZ cameras including models such as the BRC-X400, SRG-X400, SRG-X120, SRG-XB25, and SRG-XP1 are supported for NDI|HX activation. This license unlocks the camera's built-in NDI|HX capability, transmitting H.264 or H.265 compressed video over IP at bitrates appropriate for standard enterprise LAN infrastructure. The NDI|HX stream is automatically discoverable by TriCaster production systems, vMix, NDI Tools, and any other compatible NDI receiver on the network. Installation is handled via firmware and license key activation — no physical hardware ships. One license covers a single camera unit; multi-camera deployments require one license per camera.
