The VX66R SST pairs a 6.5" Kevlar/Nomex woofer with a Ferrofluid-cooled 1.0" ceramic dome tweeter, the same driver set used in the standard VX66R, shaped by a sinusoidal textured waveguide for even dispersion across the room. It mounts at a standard 4.92" depth with an 8.25" cutout and supports the same two-stage installation process used throughout the Visual Experience line. The stainless steel trim grille gives it a distinct look compared to the standard Brilliant White satin finish, making it a common choice for kitchens, wine rooms, and modern interiors that pair audio with metal or stainless appliance finishes. Integrators building a complete Sonance system can pair the VX66R SST with other in-ceiling speakers in adjoining rooms where the standard white finish is preferred.
