The VX62R SST uses the same 6.5" textured polypropylene woofer and Ferrofluid-cooled 1.0" cloth dome tweeter found in the standard VX62R, tuned through Sonance's CDX crossover and shaped by a sinusoidal textured waveguide for even dispersion. The speaker mounts at a standard 4.92" depth with an 8.25" cutout, and it supports the same two-stage installation process used across the Visual Experience line, letting crews rough in the bracket before the ceiling is finished. Its stainless steel trim grille distinguishes it from the standard Brilliant White satin finish, and custom painting or laser-printed grille options remain available if a different look is needed later. Integrators building out a Sonance kitchen, bath, or wine cellar system can pair the VX62R SST with matching in-ceiling speakers in adjoining rooms where a standard white finish is preferred instead.
